π₯ Welcome to Chef Rudy's Restaurant!
The kitchen is a disaster. The food is half-cooked. The customers keep coming back anyway.
In Risky Recipes, you'll collect questionable dishes to earn Power, avoid Food Poisoning, and sabotage your friends!
Do you have what it takes to survive Chef Rudy's kitchen and claim victory?
π― Objective
Be the first player to reach at least 20 PowerΒ from Food Cards while having 4 or fewer Food Poisoning (FP).
π¦ Game Setup
- Shuffle all cards.
- Deal 5 cards to each player.
- Place the remaining cards face down to form the Draw Pile.
- Leave space for a Discard Pile.
- Place the Food Poisoning Tokens and Flip Coin where everyone can reach them.
- Every player begins with 0 Food Poisoning.
- Choose a starting player.
π Turn Sequence
Each turn follows these steps:
Draw
Draw 1 card from the Draw Pile.
Play Cards
Play up to 2 cards: Play any combo of Food Cards and Action Cards. Or skip the turn and draw 1 extra card.
End Turn
Cannot exceed 7 cards in hand. Discard extra cards if needed. Play continues clockwise.
π½οΈ Food Cards
Food Cards are your source of Power, but many come with Food Poisoning. Each card shows:
- πͺ Power (top of card)
- β οΈ Food Poisoning & special effects (bottom)
When played, place it face up in front of you β this is your Plate. Food Cards stay until removed.

β οΈ Food Poisoning
Keep track of your Food Poisoning using FP Tokens. You may never have more than 4 Food Poisoning.
π€’ Throw Up!
If you ever gain a 5th Food Poisoning, immediately:
- Discard every Food Card from your Plate.
- Return all Food Poisoning Tokens to the center.
- Discard your entire hand.
- Draw 5 new cards.
Your turn then continues if applicable.
πͺ Flip Coin
Some Food Cards require a coin flip. When instructed, call Heads or Tails, then flip.

Gain the benefit listed on the card.
Incorrect Call
Follow the penalty shown on the card.
π₯ Action Cards
Action Cards help you, hurt your opponents, or create complete kitchen chaos. After following the card's instructions, place them in the Discard Pile.
π Card Clarifications
π§Ή Fridge Clean Up
Discard your entire hand. Draw 3 new cards. If this was your first card played this turn, you may still play one additional card.
β Give Me That
Take 1 random card from another player's hand and add it to yours. You do not have to play it immediately.
π½οΈ Here's Some Food
Choose one player. They must either gain 1 Food Poisoning, or immediately play 1 Food Card you choose from your hand. If this causes the player to Throw Up, it triggers immediately.
π¨π³ Let Him Cook
Play with one Raw Food Card (counts as one card played). You gain the card's Power and effects, but ignore its Food Poisoning. If first card this turn, you may still play one more.
π΄ Let's Dig In
Draw 2 cards and add them to your hand.
π« No No No
Play immediately when another player targets you with an Action Card. Negate that card. Cannot cancel another No No No.
π Take Some Meds
Remove up to 2 Food Poisoning from yourself and return those tokens to the center. Playable even with fewer than 2 FP.
π₯ Toss the Plate
Choose 1 Food Card on another player's Plate and discard it. The removed card's Food Poisoning is not removed from that player.
π Winning the Game
You immediately win when you have:
